可能是这首单曲太有名，风头甚至盖过了它的创造者“老鹰乐队”。
这支传奇乐队的吉他手格列·弗雷在今年1月份逝世。
主唱唐·亨利说，弗雷去世了，其他成员今后将不会在一起演出。
飞了44年，老鹰也会累。
《Hotel California》中那成经典的吉他旋律，诡异莫名的歌词内容，感人心弦的悲世情怀，使得H.C.神秘永远，成为我的最爱。
为什么说这首歌神秘，因为你真的读懂它了吗？
整个歌词似乎在讲述一个故事--
迷茫的走在路上，无意中被吸引来到了加州旅馆，经历了纸醉金迷，看到了各式各样人们，当你准备离开的时候，却发现自己已无法脱身。
人毕竟生活在尘世之中，过分追求自由只会使自己太累，人可以追求自由，但不能成为生命的全部。人生中不只有自由，人生还有很多牵绊，拖拽着人回归现实。
人生就像是幻光，但谁若把幻光视做幻光，他便坠入了无底的深渊。
《Hotel California》自面世开始，立即就引来很多的质疑与批评。尽管谁也不敢夸口说自己的理解是正解版本。
不同的人会对里面的不同的某一句印象格外深刻。
比如我相信命中注定。
于是，每次遇到命运无解的时候，我脑海里就会想起这句歌词：
“We are programmed to receive.”
